Hi @Mattmannz
1. Prepare the Markers:
Affix markers to the object or a separate surface (like a turntable).
Ensure at least five markers are visible from each scanning angle.
Place markers randomly and avoid repeating patterns to prevent tracking confusion.
Consider using a turntable for objects that are difficult to place markers on.
2. Start Global Marker Scanning:
Create a new project in the Revo Scan software.
Select “Global Marker Tracking” as your tracking mode.
Initiate a new scan and capture the markers.
Complete the marker scan and save the global marker file.
3.Scan the Object:
If continuing, select the saved global marker file.
Choose your scanning accuracy, object type, and whether to capture color.
Begin scanning the object, ensuring the markers are visible.
Rotate the object and scan from multiple angles to capture all details.
4. Merge Scans (If Necessary):
If you captured multiple scans from different angles, merge them to create a complete model.
Tip: Once the global marker file is established, it can be used repeatedly for different objects or scans of the same object at different angles as long you did not created Global market files while the markers was on the object itself.
