As an experiment, I tried the Hole Fill function in the beta release of Revo Studio and I was pleasantly surprised. The before and after images were performed on Point Clouds (Fused, but not Meshed).
The lower image shows the results with the Mesh operation using the Advanced options (Quality = 5.0 & Hole Area Ratio = 0.1 with Fill Hole selected).
