I originally bought the Revopoint POP 4 as a budget blue-laser scanner for reverse engineering. While the 3DGS (3D Gaussian Splatting) feature wasn’t a priority for me, I finally gave it a shot and was completely blown away. The scan took quite some time, but the results were totally worth it. It captures metallic and reflective surfaces beautifully, making the model look incredibly lifelike. Even the reflections in the transparent window can be seen.
