I have an old large turntable I bought with the og range. Is there a way to convert it to an auto that anyone has done diy?
You better ask that question under Development section of the forum where people doing this kind of stuff.
Remember Auto mode under MetroX is not just Auto turntable , it is a different technically and not just a simple shot mode.
It is different from Full Field single mode too. 2 different technologies of capturing.
A single shot mode with any other Revopoint scanner don’t come even closer because it uses different capture mode and not exactly just single shot frame.
Check the Developer section there are some interesting projects done by users.

Hi, if you use revoscan with a PC, you may try with a raspberry pi nano to simulate an external keyboard (and program the use of the “space” key to control when to start/stop the scanner)
