3D Food Scanning - textures/materials failing to combine

Hi everybody, I’ve been exploring for the first time the Miraco Pro device, my goal is to capture as realistic as possible 3D foods, I’ve been recording on near mode with auto settings and did 2 separate scans of an orange, after which I fused them individually and merged them into one object, however the materials were not applied properly.

There is nobody to ask around my university, since it is quite a niche device, so I was wondering if there is someone willing to help me out, even hoping on a call would be better. This is quite an important detail for me to figure out due to basing my thesis research for graduation on it.

Please help haha

You need to get some tips for photography then , never use AUTO settings if you want to capture textures

Set the light proper , calibrate the white balance with a photo card for perfect gray balance , set it back on Manual, then set Exposure on Auto, once it set turn it back to Manual and you can begin scanning when both White Balance and Exposure are locked.

Never put your object direct on the ground , lift it up , preventable with some acrylic ring under

Use single shot mode to capture at least 32 frames of the object at one angle ( you needs minimal 2-3 angles )

If will give you the maximum quality and resolution
