Yesterday I ran round 3 of the 3D scanning/3D Modeling workshops at TAFE (Vocational Training) campuses here in Queensland, Australia. We were using my MIRACO and MetroYPro scanners to scan engineering objects and import them into Rhino 3D for 3D modelling.
The students were TAFE teaching staff from several campuses, they brought in their own objects to scan so it was a lot of fun.
Some of the objects were very shiny metal, and some parts were black plastic, the MetroY Pro handled both situations very well !!
The turntable ring that I have posted earlier worked VERY well ![]()
Cheers,
Mike
