RevoMetro soon not supported anymore on Apple Silicon M macs

Question to Revopoint regarding the Apple silicon version of the RevoMetro software. I’m starting to get system messages on my M3 Macbook pro saying the software will not be compatible with the next version of Mac OS… The next update I won’t be able to use the scanner anymore. I know this is already asked for a loooong time but when will you guys supply the Apple Silicon version of RevoMetro? Would love to hear a reaction.

Hi @ocv Revo Metro is not the software that will be used with POP 4 , the new software for POP 4 is not yet released and still in production . In the near future Revopoint will switch to the native apple chip support , nothing to worry about. They already working in it . Forgot to mention but I have the MetroY not POP4. Not sure if the POP4 sw will work with the MetroY

This not matter , both software will be eventually updated when the time comes , the dev team is working in it . So Revo Metro or Revo Scan regardless.

POP 4 uses Revo Scan 6 and a new version that is not available yet.

Apple has said the NEXT OS release, Mac OS 27, arriving this fall, Will support Intel software via Rosetta 2, but it will be the version AFTER that will not, which is Mac OS 28. So Its not urgent yet.
