I watched a few presentations now and it seems as if outdoor tracking is only possible with the mobile app?
The mobile app clearly lists Outdoor tracking next to other tracking modes.
Revoscan 6 on PC does not - at least I haven’t been able to find this option on the scanning mode selection window.

Do you mean that there are no settings to use POP 4 outdoors when using with Laptop ?
I don’t think you need it , it scans so well Metals, black plastic and other as surfaces also we with Full field or Hybrid without changing any settings in PC , it is automatic without the need to adjust it , as long the Exposure is set on AUTOand the maximum distance for VCSEL at 800 mm

I just got confused because there is a separate button in the mobile app to indicate outdoor object scanning.
But I guess in Revoscan on PC it would be in the main window in the menu. Not in the initial setup window with scanning modes

in the newest updated Beta software image A it is here in the main app, after you initiated the scanner image B

But it is definitely much stronger than before because I still can scan dark objects without changing the setting like here for example image C & D
