Another skull, but a tiny little one this time - actually a scan of a full-sized medical skull that I did with the Miraco a while back, and then printed out and painted.
POP3 on the left, POP3 Plus on the right.
There’s the same little bump of definition in the geometry with the POP3Plus (using 2x mode for both scans), but interestingly the map also looks a little more defined? I’m not sure if there’s been any upgrade in the RGB camera sensor, or if it’s just that the focus is more optimised for the range it’s scanning at, but the Plus definitely looks better.
Again though, the map could use a fair bump in yellow - but taken in isolation, it looks good.
