Are there any plans to create plugins for advanced mesh software packages such as Polyworks or Geomagic Design X? The POP2 is somewhat capable and the new mini is being presented as a metrology and reverse engineering tool. It would be great to be able to just scan directly into these tools if possible.

I don’t think there are any plans for that at this moment , Revo Scan is not a complete software as it is lacking merging functions from multiple scan session and the meshing is on a lower quality so plugin would be less usable here . Would be great to have some plugin to other software from Revo Studio where you complete the mesh after scanning in higher quality but that would be just export…
Things like scanning it directly into another programs is wishful thinking, import-export maybe , and if it will ever happen I think Revo Studio will need it in first place.
