Locking Merged Positions But Allow Editing

I’m not sure if it’s possible from a software point of view, but I think it would be useful, if there was a way to lock the merged positions, but still edit the scan data of each individual scan.

You can see there are a lot of areas where the scans overlap, somewhat essential for merging, it would be great to be able to remove the majority of that and know the alignment is still possible, as the positions would be locked.

It would also mean that the more floppy parts of the bow could be removed

Hi Gary,

That would be great to have the possibilities to have more than one scan available in the window preview for editing purpose , it would easier to cut the parts for merging too and not just eyeballing it .

The way you can do that in Cloud Compare is great …
