I was testing scanning using the parallel laser mode with the metroX and i noticed some faint lines at the edge. I see 7 bright blue lines and it looks like 3 very faint lines at the edge coming out of the scanner. Is this normal?
Yes it is normal and that causes no issues.
To avoid any lines on the surface , make sure you capture the surface efficiently with minimal 8000 or more frames making sure you cover all edges.
