I have a project where i am to scan the interior of a Second World War aircraft with certain mounting points. Total length of scan will be 6,5m, height and width about 2,5m. I have backed the project. Will the scanner be able to provide reliable accurate results in such a situation. The most important information will be the relationship between the four mounting points.
I think the accuracy will be there based on the tests revopoint has shown, but the hard part for you will be ensuring the tracker can see the scanner during the entire scan if its in an airplane
Yes of course , you can use section and scan them partially for better accuracy or use multiple mode where you can move the tracker while scanning the section and merge them all while scanning at once .
Trackit has a mode that allows you to move the tracker around your object to scan everything at once no matter the size .
