3D Printed Lenscap

As a Photographer, I get very nervous seeing camera lenses without lens caps,
the same goes for my Revopoint Range Scanner
I modelled the scanner in Rhino 3D then offset the surface by 0.5mm.
Cheers,
Mike

as a Rhino modeller myself, I see alot of talent in your model. would you consider selling / sharing? the model I would love to print one for my Revo range.

BTW Printables.com is definetely the best modern website to share the model.

best regards.

Hi Angus,
I have taken your advice and uploaded it up to -

Its good to see another Rhino 3D Modeller, I have been using Rhino for over 20 years and am a bit of a Rhino “Evangalist” lol. I have just become a Rhino Authorised Trainer and am looking at running some courses detailing how to create 3D Models from Scans.

Nice job! Thanks for sharing! i too like the idea of a cap. Too bad you did not know about Grabcad before you started. A nicely modeled Range is free here: https://grabcad.com/library/revopoint-range-3d-scanner-enclosure-reference-1
