The macOS versions of Revopoint’s software, such as Revo Scan 5 , are primarily designed for Intel Macs and run in emulation mode under Rosetta 2 on Apple silicon Macs. This means the software is translated to run on the different architecture.

In version V5.6.7 and in the previous version V5.6.6, “Fusion” function seems to be deleting a lot more captured points than in the older versions and therefore “Merge” is much more difficult (both in Feature and Manual Alignment)… Is there a remedy? (I already tried Fusion in all different point distances!)
Or, where can I find the earlier versions of the software to download?

There are no early versions to download . I recommend you keep early version before you install new one , you can rename the RevoScanMetroX soft folder under Program Files before installing a new version or keep an download copy .
Never use old software to calibrate your devices.

Any version prior to 5.6.5 would do. Maybe the earlier the better!

Tried to use the newest version and my workstataion and it just full throttles the cpu when starting the software and control of the software is very slow. I did have the previous verison 5.6.6 and it ran “better”, but would crash randomly. I thankfully have the 5.6.4 version on my laptop and it runs fine. Is there something that I need to do different?
For some reason on different Systems things works differently. I can’t say I relate with your issues neither in my laptop or my workstation .
However there is a new version in making so I hope it will works better on your system .
There is nothing else you can do at this moment that wait a little bit for the new updates.
Glad to know there is another version coming. They seem to be doing a good job of getting updates out.
