My name is Sam Lilly, and I run a small business specializing in creating high-quality aftermarket automotive parts. My focus is primarily on Ford Mustang platforms, including the S550, S650, New Edge as well as F150 Coyote Platform. At SkreetKar 3D, I believe in pushing the boundaries of automotive customization.
Today, I’m thrilled to share a quick demo scan of a 2.3 Ford Valve cover using the Revopoint Trackit 3D Scanner with its early beta software. This demo showcases the scanner’s capabilities, even in its early stages. The advanced optical tracking system and blue laser scanning technology ensure high accuracy and detailed scans, which are crucial for my work.
In this video, you’ll see how the Trackit handles the intricate details of the valve cover, capturing every curve and crevice with precision. Keep in mind that this is an early beta version of the software, and the scanning performance has significantly improved since then.
