My i9 14th Gen runs 65-70 % while processing , are you sure you don’t open any other window while it is processing ? As it will slow down directly .
First, we need to clarify. Are we talking about fusion laser scan results? FullFild mode uses different algorithms, and the load there is indeed 50-60 percent, but that was the case with version 5.8.5 as well.
B - gotta process those scans fast! ![]()

Hi @Yan yes the fusing of the raw data scanned using Laser mode is slow at around 6% , the issue is because of the frames that are so small that the processing at this moment can’t be faster due to current algorithms and limitations if it.
Is the RevoPoint team working on parallelizing this task, since this is the problem that won this survey?

Depending on what you consider a process, I voted for the fusion process, not the scanning one.
I would think A, as to the others they will follow regardless.
Plus the closer you get to good set of NIST traceable calipers with output the more scanners you can be used for legal trade
I think you’re confusing it with accuracy… Point A is the accuracy of combining several clouds.
B for the win
I am talking about the fusion process as that is the slowest when scanning using Laser mode
It is regarding merge alignment under Merge Tab , accuracy can’t be updated it is the hardware and it is reaching it’s maximum capacity for handheld scanners what is 0.02 mm
