this one came out pretty tasty.. the only “clean up” was 15% isolation, then .5% isolation and filling holes because i accidentally chopped the tail off on the 1 scan and didn’t feel like re doing the fusion
2 position scan at .15 viewport to about 16k for both then meshed at .1
150mm long 135mm tall and 55mm wide approximately
threw it into blender and dropped a bronze mat cap shader on it and it really pops
proving to be a nice piece of kit for what the proposed price is looking like.
i hope i can borrow a laptop so i can put it through other paces of my actual use case soon!

decided on a fun test specimen today. wanted to see how laser mode would handle something pretty shiny so i pulled out an 89mm diameter intake pipe thats roughly 600mm long
on first glance one might think theres some weir things going on.. but nope.. thats just dirt and masking tape.
scanned in 3 positions at .3 real time resolution fused at .4 all 3 positions 10-12k frames
I’ll probably try it in some of the other modes as well to see how they fair

todays scan adventure.. a microphone and stand..scanned in 3 positions in laser mode/ dark object scanned at .15 for more frames than I’d like to admit just for fun. came out solid I should’ve take more care cleaning up the noise on the scans before merging but looks good

Quick scanned in Vcsel Mode fused at .5 mm and meshed at .5 mm .. this is the raw model color no texture processing colors were nice and no post preocessing

Had an down pipe come in that needs a jig made
this was scanned in .3 high speed mode as I dont need max detail here just need accuracy. Scanned 1 main angle then multiple bits to fill in the spaces i couldn’t get so that way it didn’t move the flex angle. a fast fused at .3 merged the 5 different bits and meshed at .3 I then reduced he poly count down from 8 mill to 2mil so fusion doesn’t hate me (quiet xile)
last grey pics are bringing it into blender to align it to axis to bring into fusion
came out great and will work perfect for what I need for making the jig.. I have another down pipe that will also be put on the same jig I have to scan for a bit turbo that I might add that later as well
