Best photogrammetry setup for food 3D scanning (AR menus)?

Hey everyone,

I’m working on a project that requires high-quality 3D models of food dishes for AR visualization.

Requirements:

  • Realistic 3D models of plated food

  • Must handle challenging textures (glossy sauces, fine details, mixed surfaces)

  • Export to USDZ + GLB

Questions

  1. Which software gives the best results for food specifically?

  2. What capture setup do you recommend (camera, lighting, turntable)?

  3. Any tips for batch processing?

Quality is the priority, budget is flexible.

Thanks!
