I have finally had some time to run some proper tests on the Metro Y Pro.This is a seriously impressive scanner ! The clarity and detail in the scans is amazing.
We have a very cool cast aluminium Squirrel Nutcracker, it made the perfect test subject.
You can see in the photo that I used fishing line to support one of the internal parts during scanning. The thread can be clearly seen it in the scan despite being only 0.28 mm thick !
