I just got my Pop4 from the Kickstarter. This is the first dedicated scanner I’ve used, so doing a lot of learning. This figure here is 92mm black shiny lead, from the 1800s. I captured it using photogrammetry and chalk spray previously using RealityCapture. Hi everyone, this is my first proper scan with the Revopoint POP 4, and I wanted to start with a useful test object for a small personal modding idea. I scanned my **Keychron M5 mouse** because I’m planning to experiment with changing parts of the outer shell. The shape has a lot of smooth curves, button lines, small gaps, and different surface angles, so it felt like a good challenge for a first real scan. Since Keychron also provides official CAD files for the M5, I think it would be really interesting to compare my POP 4 scan with the original CAD model later. That could be a nice way to check the scan accuracy and maybe help me plan a custom shell modification. Took quite some time to scan this, but worth the result. Really impressed by the POP 4’s full field scan with 3DGS.
