I am really impressed by Revo Mirror !! I can use the MetroYPro in wireless mode, letting the Laptop do all the number crunching, but still see what I am doing by using the screen mirroring function of Revo Mirror to broadcast back to my Android Tablet on the handpiece. I designed it by scanning all of the needed parts, including the MetroYPro with my MIRACO Plus, importing the mesh into Rhino 3D, then creating a 3D model for Printing. My poor old 3D printer is nearlt dead, so please excuse the rough 3D prints. The only change I had to make to the Revo gear was to dissassemble the “Swivel Joint” at the top of the battery so I can adjust the angle. After many design changes……… I have made a new design.I gave up on the cylindrical Revopoint battery and have now put an aftermarket Square battery in the base of the handle. This improves the balance dramatically and provides far more power with an on/off swith and power readout. I have also run the wiring down inside the handle to reduce clutter and reduced the 10 inch tablet down to a lightweight 8 inch tablet. I have worked out if I make the whole thing slightly shorter (Height) I wont need to use a short USBc extension cable, the standard Revo power cable will reach the battery. I am going to design a new one 🙂 ---

I have made a 1cm shorter version, and turned the battery 90 degrees so the USB plug is at the side (shorter route for cable) I have also included some ducting for the USB cable. This means no extension cables ! The top part is separate so I can 3D print it on its side, using the layer direction to improve the strength. I will post the final 3D model when I am sure it works. OK…last version ! This definately works without any extension cables, just the standard Revo Cable. It 3D prints in 3 parts, the top bit where the scanner and tablet is attached, the main body, and the bottom battery hatch which screws into place. The top part is printed on its side, so the filament layers are stronger.It is glued to the main body with epoxy. This is the power bank that I am using. I can upload the Stl file if anyone is interested. This handle should also work very well with the new POP4 🙂
