# Suggestion to not delete Non-visible points with Lasso tool?

Lasso tool should only delete points that are currently visible and lassoed.

It should NOT project backwards to points that are not facing the user. Not sure why this is the default behavior.

this makes the tool very difficult to use, every time i have to zoom out and make sure its not hitting random points behind it, then try to re-angle evertyhing and try again.

Hi @bxp

You need to change the setting to select only visible normals and not everything . It is next to your other tools icons.
