You can’t have Cages for Metro , they are highly accurate and requires the rest of the system to work so the price would be almost the same , plus there would be issue if the cage is removable , you will need to calibrate the whole system each time you scan. Not really profitable for the users.
From my understanding this simply means that the tracker can be repositioned while scanning. On their website the picture got updated to reflect this a bit more cleary (intially I also thought it would support multiple trackers at once:
