I’ve been working all week on my lighting and my scanning stage and it’s getting pretty decent. I’ve scanned many of the same subjects repeatedly while trying to get all the variables under control for more precise scans that take advantage of the POP II’s excellent color rendition and 0.1mm max resolution.
This little figurine is a memento from my wife’s illness in 2006 and has all her coworker’s best wishes on the bottom. One of my early scans with the POP II was of this little statuette and I managed to capture the graphics on the bottom very nicely, but I haven’t been able to reproduce that one yet. I plan to keep trying, though.

hi…it is so nice result and color texture… can you share the mesh without colour texture…?
