# Revo Scan 5 MetroX (Single Shot Mode) Feature Request

Hello,  
In the leadup to the MetroX shipping there was discussion of whether the MetroX had a single shot mode;

I understand that there is an auto turntable mode, but I would ALSO like the ability to manually take single shots with the MetroX.

Your other scanners allow this feature, and restricting single shots to turntable only is restrictive.

It does indeed have a manual single shot mode.

Push that little down arrow on the right edge of the Play button. Tried to capture the cursor sitting on it but it didn’t happen. 🙂

Manual single mode works only with Full Field mode  
But Full Field mode is not Auto mode  
It captures the objects differently using single shot than Auto mode .

Auto made has 3 different pattern and Full Field just shifting pattern .  
For that reason Auto mode deliver the best results .
