Range Exposure Problem

I recently purchased a Range 1 on ebay which the seller says was used successfully recently. I am unable to get an image, even in prescan mode. I currently use an Inspire and a Mini on the same computer and software, so these are not an issue. I also have completed a number of scans using these machines, so have experience of using Revopoint products. I suspect I have an exposure problem, especially as the exposure windows do not show any red or blue highlights on the images. These problems arise, no matter on what the subject. I have reset the scanner as per the literature provided, to no avail. In view of the seller claiming that the scanner was working and there being no sign on damage on the packaging, I feel obliged to ask the forum if they have any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong, before contacting ebay.

Hi @Aege

Connect the scanner to the Revo Scan last version , put the scanner on a one color wall and make sure the distance is showing excellent , then take a screenshot of the software . ( Print key on your keyboard,) Of use the build in the software Screenshot option .

Send that image with explanation what is going on in the software to customer@revopoint3d.com for evaluation .
They will confirm if that scanner is broken or not , and if it is broken you can claim you refund on eBay as dead on arrival.

Success …
