# Pop4 unable to start

iPhone iOS 26.5

pop4 is connected to Wi-Fi.

The iOS Revo Scan software (version 5.4.2) requests Wi-Fi permission. Such a permission does not exist in iOS.

The scanner is connected to the iPhone, but the app does not detect it.

next: does the mini turntable only work with a 5-volt power supply? It doesn’t work with a 65W laptop power supply.

Right now, the brand-new scanner is not very satisfactory.

turn-table issue solved: 5v only.

No they advertised it as working with a phone app but didn’t finish it before release. I’m not so far impressed. I’ve ordered metro Y ultra to see if I’m happier with that.

Hi @Benjoslin the project is not ready as it was planned at the end of June and just because everyone got their scanners early as planned don’t means the project is already finished .

Little patience please

Only 5V power supply , you can see it in the back on the turntable , it don’t need 65W

There are no iOS version released yet to support POP 4 , the project is not finished yet . Little patience please
