I have the Miraco Plus, but am curious about the other models.

Can all of the Miraco models perform Photogrammetry? It seems pretty obvious that they should be able to do this (having the same color camera), but selecting the mode on my unit present me with a prompt to import the scale bar info (which the other two models cannot use).

However, photogrammetry does not require a scale bar calibration to function, only to properly scale the result.

So the question remains…

Hi Jeff!

Cath was quite clear on this subject 😅:

> It will not works with any other Miraco Version or Range scanner , I don’t know how made that claims but that is totally not true . You need Miraco Plus to capture it first to make it works . and if you think you can use the tags as marker points then that is wrong approach . PMK needs Tags and Markers together to be successful and it can works only on MIRACO PLUS

The answer for that reason is NO You can’t compare simple global markers to PMK , global markers are the same as regular markers saved under a cloud totally different animal than PMK On top not other scanners support the required camera resolution .

So you are lucky to have the PLUS version🙂

cheers

This is not the kind of photogrammetry you think it is
It is the metrology via photo .
