Hello, I searched the forum for this information, but unfortunately I couldn’t find it. These parameters are officially listed on the website:
Metrology-grade Accuracy: Up to 0.02 mm
Volumetric Accuracy: 0.025 mm + 0.05 mm × L (m)
It doesn’t mention which mode this is for.
Can you specify the parameters for each mode individually?
The second question is in what mode the measurement was performed in relation to the VDI\VDE 2634 Part3 standard?(Accurancy Inspection Result card)
Device accuracy is measured by the sensors that are used by all modes . Point to point distance using single frame in lab environment with a very special device . Accuracy can’t be changed , it is the finger print of the device.
You don’t measure device accuracy by scanning the object , that would be volume accuracy what is equal in all modes specific to the device in question here .
Revopoint scanners that use different accuracy per mode have this info written under the product specification like for example Miraco near-far mode .
Metro series have the same volume accuracy across all modes .
Thank you for answer. I have one more question regarding callibration results. From Accurancy Inspection Result card we have only one record. I assume it is average value from 20 masurements. In what mode were the measurements made?
I don’t know exactly to be honest , but tests like that are calculate in the labs just for 2 points distances with a single frame and probably were tested in all modes . Other way you would have a specific accuracy listed over each mode separately.
