Hello Revopoint team and fellow makers,

Here’s a feature idea aimed squarely at the 3D printing community - which, I suspect, is a large part of the Revopoint user base.

**The idea:** Add a dedicated “Prepare for 3D Printing” export path in Revo Scan 6 that optimizes the finished scan for printing and hands it off directly to popular slicers.

**What it could do (one click, after mesh generation):**

1. **Print-readiness checks & auto-repair:**

2. **Slicer handoff:**

**Why this matters:**

Right now the scan-to-print workflow for us makers is: scan → edit → export STL → open slicer → hope the mesh is manifold → fix issues in a third-party tool → slice. The scanner already does the hard part (a clean 0.03 mm mesh); the last mile is manual glue work in separate tools.

As far as I can tell, no 3D scanner vendor ships their scanning software with a print-ready pipeline tuned for the maker community yet. Revopoint would be the first to close that loop - scan on a POP 4, one click, slicer opens with a watertight model. That would make Revopoint scanners considerably more attractive for the 3D printing crowd and create a strong differentiator.

The POP 4 already exports STL and 3MF, so the building blocks (mesh generation, formats) exist - this is about adding a print-optimized finishing pass and the slicer handoff on top.

Thanks for considering it!
