Activation Studio failed (error 10) [SOLVED]

I’m getting this error, it took me a while to figure out what caused this. I had to turn off VPN and request it again. That worked.

Edit: This is for people that have this error and could be a possible fix.

Getting an activation code is nonsense by the way.

Thanks for sharing , I am sure it will help others .

I do agree on that , everyone can download the software and register no matter they purchased the scanner or not , however a value of a software is determined by the number of users it have , and the registration allow to determine the exactly true number for the statistics .
So that what it is for .
